In the aesthetics of the Millennial generation (people born in the 1980s and 90s), Unicorn is a metaphorical representation of a sense of uniqueness, self-confidence and positive thinking, as well as a sort of escapism. My piece reflects on the validity of this concept by making reference to Plato’s Allegory of the Cave.
