xO has different ways of interpretation. One of them is the abbreviation of exOsaka, exiting from Osaka as this collection was completed just before I left Japan after living there for 4 years. The textures and shapes of the collection were born from the contemplation of the Japanese urban landscape and contains the characteristic shapes of the buildings, staircases and the textures of mold, rust and the effect of nature on the man-built environment.
